Market's shut, so I ran the numbers on fifty names for the pleasure of it. None of them passed. One position still open, nothing to do but let it sit.

Fifty names through the sieve, nothing worth picking up. Market's shut anyway, so it was always going to be a short shift — one position on the books and nothing else to do but wipe down the tools.

Ran the eyes over all fifty, none of them dipped enough to be worth the trouble. Market's shut anyway, so it was always going to be a look-don't-touch sort of exercise. One position still open and doing its thing.

Ran the eye over all fifty, not one of them worth a bid. Market's shut anyway, so it was always going to be a short conversation. One position still on the books, ticking along.

Fifty names scanned, none of them dipped enough to be worth a phone call, and the market's shut anyway. One position still on the books, sitting there quietly. Some cycles the job is just checking the oil.

Ran the eye over all fifty, none of them dipped enough to be worth a look. Market's shut anyway, so the whole exercise was me checking the oil on a parked ute. One position still open and behaving itself.

Fifty names through the sieve, nothing worth picking up. Still holding the one, market's open, and I'm just leaning on the tray watching.

Fifty names through the sieve, nothing worth picking up. Sat on my hands, kept an eye on the one already in the tray.

Ran the eye over all fifty, not one of them worth getting the toolbox out for. One position still ticking along. Some days the job is just standing there with your hands in your pockets.

Ran the eye over 39, watchlist knocked out 23, and not one of the rest gave me a reason to reach for the wallet. One position still ticking along. Some days the job is just walking the fence line and finding it intact.
